Resin floors for car parks, laundry rooms and communal areas

Painting a concrete floor is not just a matter of aesthetics. As well as providing a visual facelift, a resin coating protects the surface from wear, stains and dust. It makes the floor easier to clean and improves the overall appearance of your space. That's why so many areas can benefit from our resin floor painting solutions:

  • Underground car parks : Our epoxy resin floor paints are ideal for your underground car parks. They withstand intensive vehicle traffic without flaking, are resistant to oils, fuels and humidity, and improve the brightness of your basements. What's more, they provide durable floor markings: numbered spaces and pictograms remain clear and visible over time.
  • Laundry, cellars and communal areas : In your laundry rooms, cellars or technical corridors, a resin-painted floor eliminates concrete dust and protects against damp or laundry stains. This keeps your premises cleaner, healthier and easier to clean - a real plus for residents and maintenance staff alike.
  • Workshops and warehouses : In your workshops or industrial warehouses, a industrial flooring epoxy resin offers enhanced resistance to impact, abrasion and chemicals. The floor can withstand dropped tools, heavy loads (pallet trucks, machines) and regular contact with oils and solvents without deteriorating, while remaining easy to clean to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Road markings : Working in Geneva and Satigny, we number parking spaces. These signage paints complement the paving, providing durable, highly visible signage for optimum organisation of your spaces.

High-quality technical floors: resistant, slip-resistant and durable

With Azzo Peinture, you can be sure that your resin floors will be installed to the highest professional standards. Put your trust in your professional technical floor painter in Geneva to extend the life of your concrete floors and improve the image of your spaces.

Floor paint: Frequently asked questions

Resin floor paint is a continuous coating applied in a thick layer to concrete, based on synthetic resins (such as epoxy or polyurethane). Once hardened, the resin forms a solid, uniform surface (without joints) that adheres strongly to the substrate. It is used to protect the floor, decorate it (with the colour or markings of your choice) and improve its performance (resistance, waterproofing, dustproofing, etc.).

Resin is an extremely robust material, ideal for floors subject to heavy stress. In a car park, an epoxy coating withstands the weight and rolling of vehicles without deteriorating, resists oil or petrol leaks and prevents the formation of dust. In a workshop or industrial premises, resin also tolerates repeated impacts, aggressive chemicals and heavy machinery traffic, where conventional paint would quickly flake off.

A professional quality resin floor can last for more than 10 years, and up to 20 years old under normal conditions of use. Exactly how long it lasts depends on the intensity of traffic and exposure to stresses (chemicals, temperature variations, etc.). This type of flooring requires very little maintenance: regular cleaning with clean water or a mild detergent is enough to keep it in good condition. It is simply advisable to avoid products that are too abrasive or corrosive, to preserve the finish over time.

The length of the worksite depends on the surface and the initial state of the ground. In general, preparing the surface (cleaning, repairing the concrete, priming) and applying the resin can be completed in 1 to 2 days for an average-sized car park. The coating must then be left to harden. Resin floors are generally put back into service after 24 to 48 hours after installation for pedestrian traffic, and under 3 to 5 days for vehicle or machine traffic. Our teams plan the work so as to minimise the immobilisation of your premises during the drying period.
